are the engines stock? how many miles?

i think either will do just fine as long as your not in the boost all day long, and you have a good tune, but 8 psi really isnt a lot for a stock motor.

B20Z with a JR charger would work wonders for you!

kind of a hard question as they a bascily the same motor, b20 is just a bit bigger bore, but the b20z does have higher comp.
i would choose the b20z, why, because of the better intake desgine, and they do make a little more power the a b20b. plus as b20 has got a little more torque then ls.

true that, I hear they throw up good numbers w/ vtec aswell... the LS boost thing is becoming kind of out dated in my opinionn

yea it is, sometimes it just seems like people are scared to try b20s.
i love them, just put one in my buddys dc, and what a difference. cant wait till he puts he gsr head on.

if you do plan to go b20/vtec plan on spending some money on the block, if you want reliablity.

To derail the thread a bit, what kind of reliability is expected out of a stock low mile LS or B20Z at the 6-8 psi range. ie, no build up just using stock components on say a 30,000 mi motor?
