Default b18B with 170k

Hey guys Im going to be buidling a LS turbo or LS VTEC turbo and was wondering if my stock block will be ok to use since at min ill have new rods and pistons and head? If not what if I sleeved it? Thanks

If you use new rods/pistons/bearings and gaskets, its like making your shortblock have 0 miles on it again. Of course you need to hone it and bore it also. Your block may be fine to boost right now with 170k miles on it, just check the compression and leak down test. That is if you only want around 250-275whp
