Default B18 turbo setup question

Looking at doing a conversion on my B18 vtec... Do i need to change the pistons rods and uprate the head gasket? It has just had a head gasket change but would i need a upgraded one?

I will only be running low boost as it is just for a small project on my EG

if you plan to run under 10 psi, stock map is fine

also you can use dsm injectors/ they are 440cc and can be had for cheap

i also like eCtune management. ectune.com
but use what your tuner recommends.

Many of the managments you can use will just add on to the stock ECU. Call the shp and ask them what they would tune your car with. Then come tell us what they prefer to use and we'll tell you if it sucks or not

I have spoken to a guy at my local tuning shop and he recommended a hondata ecu... is it true that i can download a map for the s300 via usb just to get the car running? and then take it to the shop to get it mapped up correctly

good, if that's what he sells and tunes, and he has a good reputation, go with that. As far as the basemap thing, I don't know, never played with that system. Your tuner should be able to set you up with something to start it with anyhow.
