b18 turbo

Default b18 turbo

ok i have a b18 a wit Ctr's rite now but now i wanna go turbo the block had a b16 J1 tranny on it now my question is which tranny would be better with a turbo setup on a b18a say boosting 10-12lbs daily drivin. the b16 j1 or the Ls tranny.

Heres the deal alot of people will say ls tranny is better for boost...its not..the reality of the situation is this ..it slows ur acceleration down no matter which way u look at it...ive had a b16 turbo with b16 tranny...now i have gsr...and the only con i can think of for the b16 tranny was it went threw gears to fast because i was spinning....i have the gsr to slow my acceleration down a lil...so i dont go threw gears to quick and it will help me get traction....but if your only running 10-12psi...id say to go with the b16 tranny
