Default B16b TURBO???

I have a B16b in 98 Ek9...and lovet he power..but i want more, i can go all NA and spend tons of money and get just that much out, but i can turn around and boost it for same prce and hae **** load more fun...this is the setup i was gunna run...Full-Race kit Stage 1....running with stock internals..10:8 copersions....**** ..but i was hoping with the right tuning at around 7 psi i would be haulling ***...

also just wondering if anyone else have ever tryed this on the B16b..the setup up i am running...

this winter i was plaing on rebuilding the motor Type R crank and rods to boost the liters to 1.6 to 1.8 and that makes the compsion sly rocket sooo new pistons go in...

I would highly recommend getting a thicker hg and some arp head studs before you even put the turbo on it. Other than that , DO NOT skimp on fuel management/good tune and make sure you give it a good tune up. Everything else (turbo size/bov/wg/exhaust etc) is relatively speaking not as important to longevity of the set up. The only problem is that boost is quite addicting. It's like crack to gear heads!
I had a b16block/type r head running 7psi, and it was pretty damn quick putting down 217whp in a hatch. After a few months though, I wanted/borderline NEEDED more boost... sounds like addiction to me, so be careful!lol

low comp pistons would be the better option

although I absolutely agree w/ lowering compressionvia pistons as a better route, It's not always feasable ($) for somone just getting into the "dark side"
