2000 civic si
b16a engine
6266 t3 v-band presicion turbo
38mm wastegate
hondata 4bar map sensor
snow stage 1 water/meth system
mac boost by gear system
victor x intake manifold
id 1000 fuel injectors
,,,thats all info u need i think need more info ill post

so i reached a dead end and dont know what causing the sh** im having.

when i drive the car and its about to get boost rpm drops all sudden engine keeps running but not speeding any further no matter how much i increase throttle,,i was having this issue few months ago but it was coming rarely and the issue go after few mins of driving i thot it was the water/meth system getting the engine to cold or sum so i never gave it much of attention..three days ago the issue happened again and not to stop its happening in every gear,,if engine cold or hot,,throttling slow or fast,,no matter what i do its not stopping,,,so i done an air leak test,,check the map sensor,,,check the wastgate,,injectors,,boost by gear system,,turbo,,all is good i even thot of shutting the meth water system but there is no need since meth activation point @(5200rpm) when im even not reaching 2500rpm in every gear ...

Good going.. Way to use a nice "low tech" approach.

This might sound stupid but the bulb for the CEL in the cluster can be blown. I've seen this happen many times.

Also if it was only a tps issue and the voltage the ecu saw never went out of range then it wouldn't throw a cel in the first place.

cel works for 5sec first i turn ignition on and i have removed fan switch to check if its working and it was working fine,,,i c what r u getting 2,,you can c it with datalog but still they should make it give a cel when a sensor that important is not giving a good reading,,just an opinion.

to the ecu the reading was fine. hence no code.

if the voltage went out of its 0-5vdc range or didn't get any voltage at all then and only then would the ecu throw a code.

what engine management are you using?

Yeah I recently found out the tps I thought was ok os faulty. Plugged in s300 and found put it maxes at 63% and the scaling from 0-63 was jittery and glitchy as hell. Swapped throttle bodies and now its good. (Other throttle body has the factory screws, I didnt wanna cut them)
