B16a head on a b18c block with boost
Hi so I currently have a b16a2 swapped 97 Ek coupe. And I was thinking I want to build and boost a b18c block (gsr motor) and drive my car around as it is now but when I'm ready swap my head onto the block and then drop the motor in. I have a few questions however... I am looking to get to around 275-300 to the wheels but definately be conservative with boost as it will be a daily driver. My budget is 4-6k maybe lol does anyone else run this setup with boost? I just want more torque than my b16

That's enuff money if you shop smart and learn to do your own work, and yes, thousands of people have run that setup. That's very similar to a Type R factory combo.
An LS crank will provide a little more torque than GSR. We all know the PR-3 head is King, tho! Them GSR boys be jeally.
Take care of it.

for 300HP you dont need to build it. I run the same setup and im at 410 (built block) 98 civic coupe
best thing I can tell you is choose your manifold and turbo wisely to get the power desired. go autoworks kit is $2700 + another $1500 or so for hondata+tune+injecters+fuel pump and your good to go. Might wanna consider upgrading mounts and clutch but that would still be within your budget
