have anybody tried it b16a block with b18c head for boost option
Hey im wondering if anybody done this i got a b16a block and im putting a b18c head and im boosting it its gonna b a stock setup leaving da block as is putting inlinePRO thick headgasket and a block guard my setup consist of t3/60-1 garret turbo, Tial 38mm wastegate,Tial 50mm blow off valve, InlinePRO headgasket,InlinePRO stainless steel manifold basicly thats bout it wat do ya think will this setup last ? and will it make some power? any info about it its aprecciate it thanx

years ago this guy near where I live, had a white cx with built b16 bottom with gsr head, to4e turbo. ran 11.5@126 he beat a trans am with a 200 shot, turbo 240's many other cars. but I cant say this means it has any advantage over a straight b16.

GSR heads have 3cc's less than a b16 head. You would be better off with the b16 head unless you wanted higher compression. Which you dont, because you are going turbo....

See my sig. I only used the GSR head because that's what was salvagable from my gsr motor when I cracked the sleeve. . .There is really no difference. Maybe slightly more flow from the b16 head, because it is a pr3 cast. .

what most people forget is the port angles and injector spray angles of the gsr head
hold on to that gsr head.
