this may have been brought up before but, whe i searched i came up with no results. I have a 1992 hatch with a drag turbo charged b16. i am running three degrees retarded timing,BKR7E-11 plugs gapped at .28, and i have installed check vavles. But every time i get to around 7 grand in 3rd gear, about 6500 in fourth, and 5500 in 5th i getb a cel. After this happens i go to run th code and the check light will not blink, i do know for a fact that the ecu is fine. Any ideas what this could be also cylinder 3 looks like it maybe running a little lean but not for sure that is just from looking at my plugs. There is no other mods to the car.

 

How much boost? vafc? Anything?

 

i am running stock boost thats the kit is set at witch is like 7lbs. And no i have no other mods then the motor and the kit.

 

so youre running a fmu and a inline then hmmm i dont know why it wouldnt blink have you tried a diff ecu...

 

Yes, i have tried two different ecus and both do the same thing. Some one told me that it may be the O2. But it never throws the cel in first and second.
