Default Trany issues. what would you do?

ok I am currently running a LS trany in my turbo b18 LS/vtec.
that BS about staying in boost longer. yeah I bought it and it SUCKS!

so Sould I
A. Get a 4.785 final drive?
B. Get a 4.4 final drive?
C. Get a GSR trany
D. Get a B16 trany

ls trannies blow... i don't know if the materials are different than that of a b16 or gsr, but the synchros will be done in a good 30k miles if your car sees the track ever.

I would get a b16 trans. Maybe put in a ls 5th for a higher top end.

The ls uses the same synchros that has nothing to do with it. Synchros that are fucked at 30k miles are a result of driver error.

Ls trannys are designed for the ls engine and thats what they work best with. Put an ls in a b18c or a b16 especially and it's gonna feel like ****. Put a b16 or gsr tranny on an ls and you're gonna be shifting into 5th wayyy early.
