Default after install---->tuning

If I decide to put a turbo kit on myself from Drag, can I drive around without being tuned for a little while or do i have to get it tuned right after i put the kit put on?

nope, it should be fine at the stock boost levels. Although tuning will make the car feel like it came with turbo from the factory.

Its good to go out of the box...you'll run very rich since drag kits come w/ a 12:1 fmu. FYI if you didnt know running rich is less likely to detonate but you make less power.

well i should have it tuned not too long after i install the turbo. but after being tuned the air/fuel mixture should be just right...or in the safe area....it not being rich or lean right?
