B16 vs b18

Default B16 vs b18

I have a b18c1 block w/ stock crank , scat rods and srp 9:1 pistons, question is... how much of a hp differrance do you guys think a b16 head would have than a gsr head? i'm low on cash and trying to make an affordable build. looking for 325-350 whp any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

what ever head you have, either will make your goals easily, save your money.

Well the B16 head is close to a type r. It's not really the head but the cams. I would get itr cams. Look up type r cams vs gsr cams on evans-tuning. Their was about a 25whp diff. At 350+ it might even be a lot more.
