b16 and turbonetics

Default b16 and turbonetics

Hey guys need some help.I'm building a B16 Turbo setup and I have an AGP Turbonetics journal bearings turbocharger ( 50trim .63ar )!Who have turbos like that help me to decide what size restrictor whil be better for this turbo on a B16 engine.Thinking on 1.5mm (0.06") or 2mm (0.08") Please give me and advice because i don't realy have experience in this part of turbo building.

I did a quick Google search and it looks like everyone is running a -3AN line with no restrictor on Turbonetics journal bearing units.

On the newer ones, from the TNX and thumper series. From the older AGP turbines, they still use about .06" to .08". The difference is the turbine shaft size.

So, it would help if you showed exactly which one you have

Hmm.hard to say, but you'd be using a 1/4NPT-fitting regardless of size
