i have a b16a w/hydro tranny, i pulled it out of a sir2 front clip.
-i want to go boost, but i dont want to kill it either., what can i do to help it hold boost better w/o fully building it, i have about 4gs to get the turbo and do a mild build. what do you guys suggest? what do you guys suggest i do and any kit that will do good? i want to boost a bit more than 7.. maybe 10 or 12

 

Do some research. Read. Search. Kits are more expensive but come complete which means less work for a newb. However, piecing one together gets the exact part you want. Also, it's not about psi it's about horsepower the engine can take. 300 has proven reliable on B motors but it's up to you.

 

i would love to make 300. i just want reliable power. thats why im asking for help. what parts.. do i have to fully build, mild build..im obviously the newb and just need some help. i dont want to take it to the shop and get ripped. i want to have a gameplan

 

Your stock B16 would be reliable at 300whp with a good tune, so you won't need to build anything.
