i want to win the lottery but i dont always get what i want haha

why on earth would you want boost so early? save your money and do it correctly the first time. anytime your talking about turbo'ing your car and say anything along the lines of "i cant afford" you should probably reconsider.....

its always more expensive to do it cheap.

well from the sounds of the turbo you want, its not going to make enough power to require a built block.

look into some of the garrett t3/t4 turbo's.

6k holy ****. What the hell are you trying to build? Your setup could be acheived for a reasonable amount. And yes i would look into a smaller t3/t4 or a t3 60trim minimum.

have you drove in a boosted honda before? IMO even a 3k full spool would be way too early.

I would save your money a little more and get something half decent. Boost is crack, once your boosted your gonna want more. My turbo fully spools about 4500rpm on a LS motor and I think thats perfect with my gsr trans. 2500 spool would be a tiny turbo, or a expensive bb turbo i would imagine.

wwell by the time u build the bottom end and the head and the turbo kit. and **** u would have like 4500-6000 in it easily. i just want a simple turbo on a stock ls until i can afford to build the bottom end. all i wanna do is make about 235 whp. and run high 12s. which is definatly possible in a gutted crx with my traction bars and some good tires. thanks for some opinions on my ?.

well all info has been given to you. What more are you looking for? Full boost by 2500 is rediculous. If you do find something that spools that early it will run out of steam on top. look for a t3/t4 50 trim/precision sc50/gt28r. Deals are everywhere. Look around.

if you want a turbo that will spool fast and a cheap one just get the greddy kit and some injectors and tune it

Get a T3 60 trim. I have one on my d16 and it fully spools 10psi around 3900rpm and pulls all the way past 7200. I'd imagine it spooling a little quicker on an ls. Nothing wrong with a quick spooling turbo. If you have money to spend then by all means go for a ball-bearing GT28RS.

forget the kits. Put it together yourself. Although you may not be capable of doing it yourself. I guess the kit is the best way. Get the apexi kit.

my ls-t is awsome, peiced it together, makes 246whp 208ft.lbs on 10psi, I couldent ask for more as of right now, it pulls awsome up top but still gets almost 30mpg in city cuz u can keep it out of boost easily, any quicker spool and it would suck as a dd, trust me

garrett t3 t04b 57t .63 a/r spools at 3000, full at 4300rpm

how much money do you actually have to spend? Only asking because you went from a OEM turbo, to a BB turbo, now to a kit. If you have the cash for a ball bearing turbo, or a kit. You can make a much better kit for the money.

well im on a tight budget. but i mean i can hustle up the money. and save for a while. i was just wanting a oem turbo cause i figured they would spool the fastest. and i would save some money until i build the bottom end. but ive been thinkin about it, and i would be better off just to get the turbonetics kit. so i can run it without tunning for like 1-2 weeks so i can convert to obd1 and tune with crome. so i think i will just get the turbonetics kit. i will keep an eye out and research some more when i get all the cash. has anybody seen the vecco kits? it is a decent looking kit. it has a turbonetics t3 t4. and warrantied and ****. ill find a link for it.
