I have been considering the same thing too.. I got a 95 del sol vtec. I still don't know if I should stay all motor or boost it.

I'd go w/ a small turbo like a disco potato. That way you can keep similar characteristics of NA powercurve but have alot more of it. Much more fun to drive also.

Build your own, get only what you need to make it work. My friend Boner Ben has a full race manifold and a wastegate that he would sell you. Then buy any brand new turbo you want, depending on what you want. Buy your oil lines and then buy, your FMIC kit and blow off valve. Get some crome or neptune and a 3 bar map sensor and some injecters. Everything shold cost no more then 3500 and should be very reliable with a good tuner. You should make 300+ seasy on pump gas. Just stick with t04e or t04s compresser housings and frames. if you already have a clutch and tires, you'll be in the 11's with that power on a stock motor.

P.S- If you can't drive , please don't bother.

Yes a t3 with a .63ar would be fine.
Dont go bigger than a GT30
And NEVER go all motor!!

i love post like these, people put so much money into NA then they get beat by a turbo d16 then are like F i need turbo lol.

turbo is the ONLY way to go, and even if you invest thousands into na there isnt anyway you could ever get 600 from it, so its just a waste lol

anyhow i second the disco potato that would spool very quickly on the b16

Yea IM The Shodan on a turbo.
He has the GT3251E and the GT3255E which is what u need and is a lot cheaper than GT28RS and GT3071

the GT3251E being the preferred turbo for your B16 (and also LS engines)

well that turbo is in the $6-800 range depending on what you have done to it...then the rest of your setup could be anywhere from $1500-4000 depending on what you get and whether it is new or used

Does that turbo (3251E) come w/ internal or external wastegate? I'd like to have one in the near future, but only if it's external.

For 3g's you aren't going to be that fast either way.

Also I never let any turbo D's beat me when I was all motor, with the exception of 2 that had 2x my horsepower.

The reason you should go turbo is because your del sol is heavy as hell and in order to be fast all motor you need to be as light as possible.

That would be a good way to waste your money right there. No SSAutocrap.
