b16 with sc 61

Default b16 with sc 61

i knew i saw a topic on this awhile back but i cant search for it. im planning on to get the drag kit from import parts and wanted to upgrade it to a precision sc 61. and was wondering is the sc 61 too big for the b16?

Depends on your goals. Doesn't boostfed run a full-race t67 which is bigger, and puts down 600+ HP on a b16.

it really depends on a few things, what are your goals? If the motor is stock and you want sub 300whp get something smaller...

go with sc32/34 if you only want 300whp, i made over 300whp with a 60/.63ar t3/to4e garrett.

i have a garrett t3/t04e sitting in my garage but i think it needs a rebuild. does anybody know where is a good and cheap place for a rebuild?

sell the sc61 use that cash to fix your t3/t04e. then with the left over cash go out and buy some chinese food. hehe no seriously since you are going with a drag kit which is in most cases a street set up. with that type of manifold i would go with the garrett. the t3/to4e is more than enough to get you to your 300whp goal.

310's are too small.

550's should work for you, If it were my choice Id go with 770's but thats just me.
