b16 jrsc setup!
Heya! Just started to build up my jrsc setup.
Here's the parts i was thinking about:
- Hondata IM gasket
- 68mm Throttle
- Mishimoto "fan switch".
- Mishimoto Thermostat
- JRSC supercharger kit with M62.
- Oilcoler with thermostat
- 3.8" pulley should give about 9.3psi
- Hondata s300
- Walbro fuel pump
- 550cc injectors from RC
Other stuff: AEM fuel rail, AEM FPR, AEM wideband and boost meter.
I alrdy have Apexi 2,25" exhuast and hytech rage header in the car.
What do you think about the setup? should i go with the 4.0" pulley and maybe Blox A cams? I'm going to hit the tracks pretty much this summer so i dont want any overheating problems.
If you have any tip that could make the setup better just tell me what you have in mind I'm looking for about 280-300hp.

Re: b16 jrsc setup!
So i wont get the same power from sk2 pro 1 camshafts as from the GSR in and ITR ex? I got a really good price on the sk2 camshafts.

Give them a shot..... They probably aren't ideal but they won't harm your engine. Maybe you could have a great new combination.
Or sell/trade them for a set of GSR cams and profit!

Re: b16 jrsc setup!
Yeah maybe, i mean sk2 tuner 1 camshafts works great with the supercharger so maybe this ones will work even better I'll have to give it a try!

Maybe just use GSR intake and your S2 Pro 1 exhaust cam. Do you have adjustable cam pulleys? That will be a key component to maximising your tune with those cams.

Re: b16 jrsc setup!
Would you go that big on the exh. Side?
I'm trying to figure out cams myself and was thinking of a more symmetrical pair

With the right tuner and a set of adjustable cam gears, I suspect you could match or beat the power numbers of the GSR/ITR combo. Remember, superchargers favour exhaust flow. Just be careful of valve to valve contact.

Re: b16 jrsc setup!
The sk2 pro1 cams work pretty good, they keep dynamic compression down a bit if you have a higher comp. check out my first jrsc setup i built a few years back i think i hit 230hp @6psi i soon changed to gsr in and itr ex in a ITR motor i had i built after.
