b16 head question
my question is this..i have a built GSR bottom end. 9.7:1 compression wiseco pistons, crower rods, STR block guard. bored to 81.5mm. there is a fully built b16 head in the shop that is not being used. i am concidering putting that head on my GSR block. the head is fully built with hardened race valves, valve springs, ratainers, guides and is ported and polished with a port matched type R intake manifold. i think the b16 would lower my compression a bit which would allow me to run some more boost do you guys suggest putting this built head on (wana rev to about 9k rpm) or just stick with the stock GSR head. also i have a 1,2 and 5 LS gear in my GSR tranny ( 3 and 4 are gsr ) i am going to be running 15psi daily with neptune and a t3/60-1. going for 400whp on a dynojet. any input is helpfull. thanks alot
