Default B16 Dyno Results are in; attached pic

Are my dyno numbers decent for my basic set-up, and do you think i could hit mid 13's in 1/4 mile in a 00 civic si? Thanks for feedback...Peace

Set up:
greddy turbo kit
b16a2 w/ 9:0 comp
eagle rods
acl bearings
itr cams & valve springs retainers
upgraded 2.5" downpipe
2.5 exhaust

The engine made 270 hp and 181 tq @ 12-13 lbs. Tuned by DNR Performance

power seems low...i made 321 whp and 225 tq on my stock b16a at 11psi on a t3/t4 57 trim. that power should get you into the 12's with some slicks!!!

More than likely the reason the power is lower is because he is at 9.0:1 compression and stock b16s are usually 10.5:1 I don't know if it would be a ~50hp difference but I know it would make up for some of the power difference.

Also I just reread it and he is running a greddy kit, which the turbo with that kit is only an 18g which is smaller than a t3/t4 57 trim.

It's like comparing a 57 trim to a gt35r, obviously the 35r flows more at the same psi.

Yeah i would for sure say the power loss is because of the low compression pistons.

but to the OP 270whp will easily put you in the high 12's with slicks and low 13's on streets if you can drive.

Nice but at the same time seems kinda low. A buddy of mine made 298hp and 240 tq at 14bs with a D16y8 vitara pistons eagles t3t4 45 trim (ebay) .

The upgrade DP and exhaust really helped you out. I only got 248whp at 12 psi on my greddy kit, but I was at 9.9:1 CR. Your torque seems a little low, but is probably due to the exhaust and less backpressure in the system. I had 215wtq, but the boost was at 15psi at 5800rpms and came down to 12psi by 7K.

Have fun with the setup. I sure did.

The itr cams you have now are better than most turbo cams out there. I would just retune at a higher boost and maybe 3in dp exh. Im not really sure of the efficiency of that turbo though im sure your getting close to maxing it out soon maybe in the 350ish area?

Keep the ITR cams.

It looks like it is boost creeping. Do you have a boost log plot?

Yeah, after seeing that a million times, your eyes tune it out with no problems.

sorry i have no boost log plot. However, i helped the tuner by keeping an eye on the boost gauge. There were instances where the boost gauge would be jumpy from .8 bar to .9 bar (vice versa), we keep playing with the manual boost controler.

nice. you are making good power for what you have. Upgrade your exhaust when you up the boost tho.
