Is it possible that the driver alone could be the cause of boost spike? I was talking to someone earlier that said they have had a 3 psi spike but that it was his fault and not the turbos or the wastegates.

Nevermind...the guy said his wastegate was not connected properly and that was the cause (duh) of the spike.
