My friend has a brand new Tial 35mm wastegate with a 14.7psi spring.

I plan on running 16-18psi but dont know if the 35mm will cut it

Car is just for daily driving and ******* around, no serious track bracket racing

I think the 35mm will discharge enough boost on my little sohc and a t3 .60/.63 no problem but want a second opinion

imho i think you'll be fine. i think it's better to run higher boost on the 35mm then lower boost, since in higher boost levels more gasses will be running through the turbo and not the wastgate. At lower boost levels more gasses would be bleed through the wastegate.

A while ago Tial had it posted on there website that if you plan on runnin low boost it's better to run a larger wastegate and if u plan on runnin alot of boost it's better to use a smaller wastegate.

Yeah it was informative. Cool to know as I wanted to know this answer also although i'm gonna be running a 60/48 on a b18b1 with the tial 35 mm, and I will only be boostin 8 daily 11-12 weekends.

I have heard that aswell the bigger the boost the smaller the gate.
