Axle Question
ive made quite a few 12 sec passes on stock axles, the joints just broke on me a few months ago after 3 years of hard beating on slicks .on thos eaxles the most it saw was prob about 330whp or so
Aight thx a lot man..Now for the question..If I do a b16a1 swap into a Crx and keep the same axles..Could they take like 250whp for a few months until I upgrade to raxles..Or I might just save up and just swap gsr axles when I do the engine swap..

all carsd are diff, but best way not to break axles is bring the revs up a little higher so they dont hop or hook too hard, you want them to hook , but slide off the line , its all about knowing the sweet spot
im sure others will disagree, but thats what i have found to work thru the years for me

on what tires? i launch like 7k or so on slicks depends on the weather and track conditions and on street tires depending on the tires anywhere from 4500-5500 if deopends if they are drag rad's or straight street tires. straight streets need a little less, but not too much becuase thne youll hop like crazy . bfg's will break **** if they are launched too low thats when i broke my 1st set the other month.
its all about technique, i told my girl how to launch on her stock micehelins on the EP and she did 2.1 60's fts on those a few times, launching about 4800-5k or so . and droppping it . tire pressure mean the world too . and susp set up .
theres alot that takes into affect with a good launch and keeping the car in one piece
