How many people on here are running stock axles with 300whp? I have broke 4 driver side axles in the past 11 days. I have been using shitty carquest axles since they have a lifetime warrenty, I'm going to try a new honda axle and see if its any better before I buy some aftermarket. I'm thinking about driveshaftshop stage 3 but is there anything that will hold thats cheaper?

 

factory axles are 10 times stronger than reman axles.

 

where did you get the carquest axles at? Thats crazy you have been snapping axles like that, i have my stock ones and havnt broken one yet with 14psi, but then again i havnt put my slicks on yet...

 

Hopefully the factorys will hold I don't feel like spending $800 on some axles right now.

 

Stock axels are ok . I break at least 1 a month at 20 psi. It usually happens with the slicks on or boosting on rough road conditions.

I believe there is a GB on DSS axles. I didn't need them right now but since it's a good deal I can't help it

 

yeap, I jsut got the DSS stage 3 from Viren(the group buy)....I don't know about you, but I kinda hate replacing axles...It's easy, but annoying

I installed a new axle from honda yesterday and its messed up again. Its making a howling noise with the slightest turn to the right and pulls to the left hard under boost. What else can cause this? I'm only putting down 298whp why am I breaking axles every day or two. Would a messed up half shaft cause this? Anything else? Btw its always my driverside and I have a quaffie is that matters.
