Default AVCR settings, AVCR USERS

ive been using a greddy profec spec b II for a while now but been thinking of getting an AVCR sense it has gear dependant boost settings and such.

can the AVCR be set to display PSI instead of KG/cm2 or whatever.

is this unit hard to set while dyno tuning to get to the desired boost pressure, i know you in to setting a or b and start ******* with it till it gets to the highest boost desired for whichever you want to use as high boost. Im really wanting to know if it shows PSI though cause thats what i love about my profec bII is the PSI ability especially during boost tuning watching it float at the desired pressure during a dyno pull to make sure its holding steady and such and such. input please. believe me ive searched.

its pretty easy, u set it to the pressure u want to achieve.

its sort of trial and error cuz u gotta "tune" the duty cycle

but its not that hard.

is this thing as responsive as the greddy controller, spool time wise.

i know the greddy has the start boost feature that lets you preset when to allow the wastegate to open. and then the GAIN which is the same as the AVCR duty cycle. I just dont want to lose out on anything. Im mainly interested in the boost by the GEAR features.

yah i'd say its pretty responsive. u can set the "boost response" by rpm increments to facilitate "quickest spool possible" i guess

u'll like it, it just takes a lil bit to learn

i got mine for the boost by gear feature too lol. that damn vid with the dude running 11.5 @ 135 after letting off in 4th, i was like ooooooo i need me an avcr too lol

I'm running it on my set-up and I love it. The only thing that you have to do is wire it up to the ecu and use Blown90hatch formula and then mess with the boost duty cycle. To get the correct wiring diagram for your car go to Apexi web site, it help me alot.
