AVCR: Scramble Question
I searched already in the archived threads and didn't really find the answer I was looking for. When hooking a scramble switch up does the ground wire HAVE to be connected to the same ground wire that the AVCR is hooked up to or does it matter as long as it is grounded? I know that the Orange wire coming from the AVCR needs to be connected to the switch, but wasn't sure on ground wire.

Re: AVCR: Scramble Question (Bulldogg83)
any switch you try to attach will have 2 side one which will lead to the orange wire (scramble) and on the othe side you connect to any ground. i used the other horn button in my steering wheel. this way one button goes to the intercooler sprayer and the other goes to the scramble button. both being power adders, it kinda cool.

Re: AVCR: Scramble Question (si2die4)
UPDATE:
Well we got it to work, and for some reason hooking the ground wire up to the same ground as the AVCR did play a part. Before I had it grounded to where my boost and EGT gauges were grounded and the scramble setting wouldn't work, but then I spliced into the black wire that is the ground off of the AVCR and it works fine now.
