Default ATTN: rev hard stage 2 and vortech sc owners

Alright, got myself a good job for summer..so im gonna be pullin in some decent cash, i wanna go FI with a kit and call it a day for my car..don't wanna boost much past 7, so i can keep stock internals...only go to the track occasionaly, just want a daily driver that has some *****...

i'm still torn between supercharging and turbocharging...if i go SC im gonna get the vortech kit, and if i got turbo, i want the revhard stage 2

any personal experience with these kits? anything to watch out for?

my car has 75k miles...96 integra LS

Whoa just noticed you were from the same city.

I say boost is boost just make sure you get something for tuning or something pretuned. Ive installed both JRSC kits and turbo kits if you need any help, PM or AIM me.

i would turbo it. You will like the outcome better than the supercharging. Plus a vortech supercharger kit is like 4500- 5000 with the aftercooler right???(just guessing). That much money get the revhard kit and a good fuel management

yea, but wouldnt driving in a lower power range, like accelerating to 45 and then shifting...wouldnt that be set up more for an SC than a turbo...most turbos would just be boosting around 35 to 4...

correct me if im wrong

If low end power is what you want then either go with a JRSC (not a Vortech) or a really small turbo. Everyone here will recommend that you go with a turbo and I agree. Turbo is the ****.

JRSC look like a huge pain to install...i know my way around an engine but from looking at the install manual on the webpage and stuff...it looks like a royal PITA

can anyone who has installed it themselves reply?

I installed one a 5th gen Prelude SH and it was a total PITA. My turbo install was 5x easier and alot more straightforward. The Vortech unit looks like it has complications of its own too.
