most of those leak like hell, and the inside diameter is normally smaller than the 3'' they claim to be. Oh and after a while they have a tendency to stick.

yup, i've seen 6~7 boosted VW/BMWs with those on at the dynos. those damn things once they get a bit of usage on them tend to either stick or stay open. not to mention the 90* angle of the opening isn't as effective either.

I figure these would develop some sort of leak after a while but sticking open is definitely not a good thing. I've been looking for other ones and found that most use a Y pipe and is cable or electronically opereated. ATP's is definitley one of a kind. That 90 degree angle is pretty extreme too but I guess it works for their design. I like the idea of an selectable open downpipe but not sure if I should go with ATP's or another brand. Anyone know of another alternative that may not be prone to leak or sticking problems?

guys on vwvortex like it, havnt seen any one complain about problems on there. the one out now is redesigned from the one they had a year and a half ago
