arghs, boost problems..
so heres whats going on, hopefully someone has some insight.
i was driving pretty hard when i heard an audible "pop" come from the engine bay. immediately after, i got a CEL....followed by bogging while trying to boost, no BOV sound and no boost. the car idled ok, and drove ok while in vaccum, however when shifting, instead of the BOV going off now i got a flutter sound that comes from the intake filter.
i checked all my piping, and vaccum lines. i checked the BOV to see if the spring broke...seems ok...did a compression test....turns out ok.
i dont know how to pull the CEL code since i have a p28 ecu. i was told it may be the map sensor.
any suggestions? thx in advance

does the car run ok out of boost. does it feel like any loss of power. a "pop" is normaly not a good thing.
if you did a compression check, and your sure it's fine. make a leak tester and test all your piping for leaks. you may have just busted a clamp somewhere.
what car do you have / wiring harness. depending on how you have your p28 hooked up you should be able to check codes normally, jumper the grean connector near the ecu and count how many time the dash "cel" light flashes.
are you running a stock map sensor, and how much boost were you pushing when you busted something. remember the stock map is only good for ~10.65psi.
platinum.
