-Z6 head stock ports P2R valve springs,retainers, AR custom camshaft
-Y8 block stock sleeves, wiesco pistons, eagle rods

- turbo setup SP6262, CC ramhorn, 38 WG, eBay intercooler, Y8 intake, GSR TB, 1000cc inj,
2.5 inch hotside piping, 3 inch cold side piping, tial Bov, etc.

E85 fuel 420whp/289wtq@14psi. Only thing changed since the 411whp @ 11psi pull was pistons and 4 inch exhaust for NSCRA event. We ran into fuel problems at 503whp@18.5psi
80% duty cycle. Dual intanks or something else needed. This setup is very special never seen or heard of any sohc making this power at these boost levels. Stay tuned!

Rip to your boy. I remember his post from a couple years back. What we meant is that we have never seen anyone running a turbo D-series, making as much power on the low boost levels that we are running. Example your boys car made 500+whp @ 33lbs. Last night we made 503whp but at only 18.5 psi.

Are you planning to drive this on the streets often or is it a just-for-fun car where spool isn't as big of a concern?

I can't remember in full detail the exact point of full boost but I would have to guess at it and say the turbo is 1/2 way at full boost by 4500 and full boost by 6000-6500rpm. I feel that the 18psi pull the max boost came in earlier around 5700rpm. The compression ratio is now 10:1 it was 9:1 before and made 540whp on a abused GT35R. This setup was built to run at the track. It has done a little street racing hurting some B and K series feelings. Best time to date is a 10.7 at 135mph. I think 60ft was around 1.8. The 10.7 e.t. was done on a open diff and about 450-475whp. We now have LSD and are hoping to put down 500-550whp on 24.5 slicks.

6262 is a pretty big turbo for a little D, I love it!

Numbers are similar to Bisi's build, similar boost as well.

Tuned in to this channel. I agree that this setup must be very special to generate such numbers at such low boost on a stock 175cfm head and IM. Keep it up with the proof/vids/times/etc., make me a believer!

The car is going on the dyno again tonight. Hopefully all problems are solved. Should be able to hit 550whp @ 25psi or less.

What size exhuast housing are you using on the 6262? Also do you mind giving some more info on the cam on this setup?

I'll be running this turbo with a .63 A/R exhaust housing on my single cam this year with a dual 255 pump setup and 1600cc injectors. Hoping to get to 600whp.

My guess is the turbo and camshaft are what's making the power. Everything else just seems "normal."

They are using E85 - listed at the top of the page.
