Fresh off the dyno!! Sohc-T
Well guys i made some changes to the car after blowing the head due to a failed ignition coil.
I bought a new MSD HVC coil and turned the boost up to 33lbs and i was able to lay down 502whp with 370ft lbs of torque!!!!
I am so stoked right now!!
Remember this is still a 75mm bore 1.6L SOHC! LOL
I will be going to the track tommorrow, hoping to go low 11's on BFG's at over 135+mph. Then the slicks will be going on and i hope to run a mid 10 sec slip!!!

Great job Brian. Deffinately let us know the time slip numbers. You are an inspiration to us all who are rocking the D series.
Lets see that dyno sheet

I won't even begin with all the B vs. D stuff, everybody knows there's more potential in the B.....but this really goes to show that the B really isn't necesary for most people. I mean, how many people on the street are going for over 500 hp? (yeah, I know.. a lot more these days...but) So many FI guys could be spending money on good forged internals rather than swaps, and still come out cheaper. Just my .02.

actually i think he prooved that both have pretty equal potential.....ive seen 600whp d series (d-man) . you can go higher , people just dont mess with them.
