Default apexi turbo timer is not function well enough?

I hoooked up the timer today..
the basic function worked.... alright

but that A/F and O2 thing isn't working
do i have to set up anything??

i followed the apexi instructions and tapped the O2 wire right out from the ECU...
my A/F light is flashing when i look at it.. it's 20 and light flashing...

I don't think I hooked up the right wire...

It's the WHITE WIRE from the sensor, but is it the same color on the ECU??
it's a D16Z6

Should I have just tapped it to the wire to my A/F Gauge?

Plz let me kow and help !!

thanks

P.S. I hate hate hate taking that ECU out.. those wires, that shield !! damn !! sucks !!

I had the same problem when i first installed my TT and it sounds like you arent getting a signal from your ecu o2 sensor signal wire.. check your connection and make sure you have a good connection... also make sure you connected it to the right wire.. the moment you have the right connection that flashing 20.0 will go away and you will get --- with the led flashing red and green.. once the o2 sensor warms up it should start giving you some readings... if i were you i would go back and check your connection.. (you probably either dont have a proper connection thanks to use of a vamp clamp, or you have it connected to the wrong wire..)

if your gonna use the o2 sensor wire off the ecu you need to count the pins (use the wire diagram off of apexi's web site for your car...) thats what i did and it worked.. i just dont remember at this time what color wire it was... another option is to use a direct signal wire tapped into your O2 sensor wire... both will work..

the TT instructions asks me to connect it from the ECU

does it make a difference??

coz i already have a a/f ratio gauge, maybe i can just tap the wire in??

thaks

don't tap any of the other sensored wire, i.e. other o2 wires from your other components. that white wire should be the power wire.

again i would suggest taking the specific ECU wire diagram from apexi and count the pins to figure out which is the right wire you need to splice.. your other option is to directy tap the o2 sensor.. (wont make a difference)
