anyone using this turbonetics wheel...?
The wheel is a turbonetics T04e super series compressor wheel. Its a 60 trim wheel, inducer size 2.290 exducer 3.200 .
What sort of power will this wheel make and what sort of boost response can you expect on a 2.0l 16v...?
thanks

I'm using that wheel on a Turbonetics T3/TO4E turbo. That turbo is rated for around 450hp of airflow. On my car at 10Psig, I make 295whp @ 8500rpm (on a Mustang Dyno), ofcourse the volumetric efficiency of your machine is different, and response is dependent also on your manifold, downpipe, cat, or no cat, tuning, etc..
On my application, it's a touch laggy, but I don't mind because when the boost comes on, all hell breaks loose.

Re: (DUB20VT)
no, the wheels max efficiency is around 475hp. if you were able to push 600 out of it. it would nothing more than really really hot air
