Just wondering if anyone is using a knock off Tial BOV and how does it sound or how loud is it compared to the Greddy Type S or the HKS SSQV etc.

I prefer to use the authentic ones, for peace of mind. However, there are some of the people here who uses them with no problems, and others who had problems.

You get what you pay for.

 

i am using one, works absolutely perfect. its more like a "ppsshhhoooo" when it blows off, nothing fancy about the sound at all...ive used the hks and it has a real loud whistle...the tial style is just a big woosh of air.

they are right it sounds like a swooosh of air...

im using a tial knock off...but one thing that i notice is that mine coilbinds..so i bought a tial spring for it...and does its job well for me..

 

funny i had a knock off and upgraded to the real thing!! from what i saw they are the same!! if you have the extra buck go tial, if not the knock off will work

 

Well I decided to go with a real Greddy Type-S because for one, from all the BOV's I heard I finally decided I liked that one the best (personal preference!) and besides I got a decent deal on one .

 

From what I seen on the replica wastegates I would never buy a knock off Tial product
