I have a 98 GSR. I keep getting the CEL 13 baro sensor code. someone from this board told me that this is a common problem with the installation of AFC devices. he said there is really no fix for it. I was just wondering how many other people using these devices are having the same problem. my wiring is good, and the SMC works fine. anyone else just have this code and can't get rid of it?

 

maybe I'll have to put a switch on the ole' MIL. not like it helps anyhow.

 

Im getting a "Code 43", which is "fuel supply system". I was told that my timing is too advanced(a buddy advanced the engine from stock before the turbo), so Im just going to manual twist the distributor back toward the center, maybe a little more toward the front of the car(as you can tell, i dont have a timing gun).
Now, Im not sure what timing has to do with the "fule suppy system", but its one less thing on the list of possible problems...

hmm, but no 13 code huh? yeah, I don't know what's up with your car either. which AFC device do you use?

 

we are using the SMC +. virtually the same thing as the afc kinda...
