Anyone tune V-AFC in Orange COunty?
well, my apex v-afc needs to be tuned BAD. the car is running really rich. anyone here give me a hand? i dont have the instruction manual for it either, thanks
hahaha thats the whole point, im saving my money for a new hood right now, i have no extra money for tuning, i just need to tune it enough so that it wont run too rich
what type of car-size injectors-fuel pump- do you know your fuel pressure idling-
what about fuel pressure at wide open throttle-have you got v-afc set at 6 in 6 out-
is it set at 4 up- does it run rich idling/partial throttle/wot- have you got air fuel ratio meter-is the wiring correct-what size turbo

Not to but in but I could use some tuning advice while I wait to head to a dyno. I have a 99 GSR w/ a DRAG3 turbo kit, stock injectors, OBDI ecu, V-AFC set at 6 in 6 out. I can tell my car is running way rich. The A/F gauge runs all green at WOT and also at 3/4 throttle. Any input would be appreciated.
the car is running 270CC rc injectors, and i have a rev hard stage 2 kit. well, to be honest, i am not very familiar with turboe'd hondas. ive been around mkiv's ( toyota supras) for a long time, so i have no idea how to use the V-AFC. the car is running rich at idle, acceleration, and WOT.

Your best bet would be to leave it at the default settings until you can dyno your car. Unless you have a wide band O2 sensor (not the stock one) you cannot be sure what the a/f ratio is. You might hurt your engine more than help it. For dyno tuning check out XS Engineering in fullerton. In Lake Forest you can go to Dynamic Autosports. Good Luck!
Until you get the car tuned I would not recommend driving it. The fuel rich conditon will usually burn up the spark plugs fairly quickly and not to mention all the black smoke coming from the exhaust! Also if the unit is wired in any way incorrectly the car usually runs like chit!
