Anyone street tune for a side job or hobby?
So I was supposed to have my car tuned by a buddy of mine that I bought my turbo set up from, but he is now leaving for a work trip and won't be back until july. I have a homemade turbo set up with a teo4h turbo and a d15b7 motor. I can have everything put on before its tuned of course. I just don't want to wait until july to have it done. If it comes down to it I will, but I would like to drive the car with the turbo on when summer starts. I just graduated college and don't have $500 to spend on a tune at a shop. So if there is anyone that likes to street tune and does it as a hobby and wouldn't mind making some money doing it, please let me know. Thanks

You're probably not going to get much luck here. Tuning is serious business and I'm sure as much as you love your car, you would be inherently be in as much danger as giving your keys to a small child to drive it. More than likely even more the case, is that people would rather not take on the liability associated with tuning a "car on the side", unless they knew everything about that car. If something were to happen, even if it was negligence on your on part, that person would be blamed.
Save, wait, do it right. you'll be happier in the end by going to a reputable shop. You get a good tune, stimulate the economy, and help feed a family all at the same time..
