buy a peakboost kit or sls kit. compression should be good for 7lbs of boost. AEM EMS is the best but hondata is good and cheap. ectune is supposed to be pretty baller.

i have a b18c5 running 7 lbs with a garret gt28rs it makes about 280 whp right now on a hondata. it needs vavle guides and smokes a little bit so i'm not trying to push it any harder. but previosly I had a precision 5051re on it and at 7lbs it made 300whp. However the high compression makes for a bit shorter lifespan for the engine. It's lots of fun to drive and makes for a very responsive powerband. If you have the means to do so, I would suggest lowering the compression and changing the rods. But on the upside you have about the best stock head for for making lots of power. My plans are to change the pistons and rods and step up to a 2871. Hoping to make close to 450-475 on pump gas and stock sleeves. And as far as engine managent, I would recomend hondata. I have had an AEM and for the price of the system and the cost of tuning not to mention all the driveability glitches I feel its not worth it. I love my Hondata, much more cost efective and retains the stock driveabilty charecteristics. oh yea and peakboost makes a great kit. Other wise it may suite your needs better if you peice a kit together.

Good info. Iam looking to run 5 or 6 psi on my stock motor. What size turbo would do my stock motor justice.

It's more of a question of how much power are you offer to meet your needs?

If you intend on keeping the engine completely stock I would suggest a garret gt 2860rs, that should get you to about 300whp safely. If you lower the compression and change the rods I would suggest a gt2871 or even a gt30r. the 2871 should get you to about 450whp and the 30r will make even more. to get any more power than that your looking at sleeving the block etc. Also another thing to think about is you future goals. if your gonna keep it stock for now and then build it later, I would say go with the gt2871 it will lag a little bit more than the gt2860rs but probably not enough to bother you.

So changing the rods is a must after 300hp? How about pistons or the head is it suggested to replace any other stock parts.
