anyone running phearable chipped ecu's?
i wanna purchase one next week and use the basemap til my appointment to get hondata tuned... but my question is how well would i be able to drive my car on just the p28 with a base map somewhat customized to my setup?? i dont wanna race or haul *** everywhere i just need something that will clear my shitty baro sensor code and that will allow me to drive my car around
my setup is pretty much stock, greddy turbo kit (18g) and 370cc injectors

Re: anyone running phearable chipped ecu's? (mtber)
I run a phearable.net chipped P06 with datalogging in my car that mtber tuned on Crome Pro... ECU looks like it came chipped... I reccomend him to everyone I know for not just ECU's, but tuning as well...

but would it be safe to just drive around with only a basemap on the p28 for my setup? im getting it tuned in about 2 weeks or so but i need something for the mean while, like i said no racing or hauling ***, just something that will clear my codes and let me drive around safely without worrying about blowing anything

A basemap generally works perfectly & allows you to drive the vehicle with no problem to your tuner. I hope that answers your question.

John (MTBER) does the ecu tuning for the cars built at our shop. Cars always run real well, even on base maps.

if your going to run a "chiped" ecu...do not drive the car hard....dont rev over about 4k....stay out of boost....baby the damn car straight to your tuner....better idea...go to uhaul rent a trailer and tow it to the tuner....a chiped ecu could either end up running lean and overheat the pistons and damage the pistons and cylinder walls....or chiped ecu will run rich and wash out the oil on the cylinder walls and again cause damage to cylinder walls and piston rings....i wouldnt risk it

I run a "chipped" ecu and make 400whp.... What are you trying to say???? Maybe you should be more specific and say "chipped with a base map" if that is what you are referring to
