What exactly does that unit do?

Do you have any pics of it installed on a honda? I like the idea of not having a distributer. But I am not sure how it would work in a honda.

i was thinking the same thing. will a hatech or other programmable system drive the DIS-2 directly? what is the setup?

 

hehe I guess everyones making that change this year. I just tossed my distributor out the window. Im getting the dis 4 with 4 pro power hvc coils . wanted the motec cdi but who has 3500 for an ignition box? oh well .-pdang

 

so what are you guys using to run these systems as far as engine management?

hmm well you can just keep the distributor for the crank trigger and just get the dis and the coils or you can get the tech 3 which gets rid of your distributor all together (not sure so dont quote me on that one.) Or just get a custom crank trigger made like myself and go from there but its really all up to you and how deep your wallet goes .goodluck-pdang

you can use a electromotive tec 2 or 3 or a haltech ems and do away with the distributor and run coilpacks

 

anyone know if its possible to run sequential on the haltech and still run dis?
