Default anyone running a 16g on a b18b?

how do the 16g's do on a b18b. i've got a tdo5 twin scroll 16g from an evo viii. it shoud be on in a few weeks, i still need to fab the manifold, charge pipes and down pipe. the manifold will make use of the twin scroll function. i would like to make 225-250whp at around 10-12psi, main goal is to get into the 13's. my only down side is i will be running a greddy blue box untill i have the money for hondata.

Hondata is free these days... But they renamed it... to Uberdata. Other than that, you can most definatley make 13's with that turbo (or most any turbo for that matter).

Good luck.

I have a b18b with a small 16g and it pulls pretty hard on the top end. I get full boost by about 3000 with a 2.5" exhaust. I went to the track last sunday and pulled low 13's at 109mph. My stock clutch was slipping bad so keep in mind I had to let out the clutch then go wot. With my trap speed I know I can hit mid 12's. 16g's are no joke, especially if you're using it as your daily car. Your evo turbo should spool quicker so it's quite fun on the streets.

isn't the stock exhaust mani from the evo made of cast iron? How are you gonna weld a steel flange to that? I know it can be done but stregnth would be very limited.

How much boost? Well, I'm running off the wastegate spring. I thought it was 10psi stock but my afc shows 12psi for the stock map sensor. The afc could just be totally off though and it's actually 10psi. Either way, it pulls hard all the way to red. Shop owner with a low 10sec civic was impressed, even said it has more power than most other guys running bigger turbos

I'm going to get some dyno pulls on sunday. I'll probably make a post about it when I get back

I got a ssautoshit manifold from ebay that’s made for the evo and a b-series head flange from kteller.com. That is the only way I get a manifold that would retain the twin scroll function
