Default anyone not using a restrictor with a -3an line?

i was gonna do a restrictor setup on my turbo but i couldnt find the right fittings so i took it to my local race shop to get fittings and they told me dont use a restrictor . the -3an line already restricts it enough. its only a small t3/t4 turbo xs turbo but does anyone else do alright with no restrictor ?

3 AN here, never a problem. No restrictor needed, I will probably get one with the new setup for peace of mind.

just wondering...

most restrictors i see are .06" at the opening...

a -3 line is about .1875" and a -4 line is .25"

if the person with the -4 is using a restrictor it goes down to .06

if a -3 uses it, its the same...

so does it matter if you have -4 or -3 and then run the restrictor... in the end its still coming out of a .06 opening..

i was just thinking, not stating a fact. if im wrong please let me know cuz i am wondering this

im running a -3 line and oil is starting to come out my compressor inlet and sometimes it smokes after long drives..

i about to buy one so if im wrong someone let me know

i dont wanna starve my turbo

I would think with the smaller line and the restrictor it would boost the pressure through the restrictor but I could be wrong lets see what everyone else thinks?
