voltage should be around .5 volts at closed throttle and between 4.5 and 4.99 at wide open throttle.

Just to clarify: At idle, the TPS voltage NEEDS to be .45 +/- .05v. It SHOULD be about 4.5v at WOT...if it ain't, tuff ****. You adjust the TPS voltage for idling conditions.
