Anyone know the thread size for the fuel inlet/outlet of b-series aem fuel rails?
Tried the search function, but nothing. Thought I'd ask here before trying to call aem. I'm considering just retapping the damn thing to accept npt threads, but I'm a little worried about how much metal I'd have to drill away to remove all the old threads.

Hmmm. I found that thread and tried -6AN, but maybe it was mislabeled. I'll try again. Thanks.

I dont think they are AN fittings on that rail, arent they pipe fittings like NPT or BSPT, they are tapered so misway they start to get tight. try a 3/8 NPT and see if that works.

3/8" npt is what goes in there then it goes to a AN fittings nest pas? 3/8" is the same as -6 - 3 x 2 and 8 x 2= 6/16" or dash 6

actually forget what I said I based my response on the fact I foggily remember that the fitting that came wth it - the pipe to banjo fitting and allen screw were tapered like pipe threads. je ne fait pas mais devoirs - think I remember that from french class - translation - I forgot to do my homework.

Thanks for all the replies fellas. I went back and checked. Yeah the thread is -6 AN. Funny though, most pieces that are threaded to accept -AN fittings are also beveled (spelling?) for an o-ring seal. As long as no one has probs with it, I won't anticipate any either.
