i am new at this turbo thing and i was wondering is a t3 turbo with a .42 cold side and a .48 hot side any good, and what is the diffeance in the measuments and what do they mean any help would be greatly helpful thanks

the .42 is the trim size of the intake side of the turbo. the .48 is the trim size of the exhaust side of the turbo. the trim size being the size of the blades. i believe t3 is the size of the turbo housing. sounds like a regular size turbo. i have a t3/t4 with a .60 mm trim intake side, and a .66 mm trim exhaust side.
