Dropped a head off a the machine shop the other day to have some valvesprings and retainers put in it, when he called me today and said the inner spring doesnt sit properly and it looks as if it needs a seat locator with the kit????


the part number is SPR H1021D, and the head is a K24 from an element


stocks were single and this converts them to dual, but the issue seems to be with the inner spring

non-VTEC

check the supertech website....they might have a separate valve spring seat for their valve springs.

you definitely need to run there locator..whom ever you purchased the parts from should have known that!

thats what i would have thought. I know it is listed for quite a few honda applications I know it cant fit all of them without some kind of locator.

I am going to call the company i bought them from, im sure they will take care of it.


I was just wondering if anyone had put these in thier head and if it came with a 3rd bag or something with them in it, or did they have to ask for them, or what
