Default Anyone ever tried this with their blue box?

I read that the blue box runs very rich to help prevent leaning out. On the turboD16 forum, it was suggested that since the blue box maxes out the stock injectors regardless of boost levels, why don't you just up the boost until you're running stoich (on a dyno, tuned by a wideband of course). There are a lot of people running 8-10 psi on the blue box with stock injectors because they're maxed out anyway. And they make higher HP levels at higher boost levels, not just because of the higher boost, but because of the more stoich. a/f ratio.

Anyone have input on this? A lot of you guys are too quick to say ditch the blue box and get a Hondata or EMS, without learning how it really works and how to get the most out of it. Opinions/advice welcome.

good idea.. but i dont like mixing high injector duty cycles (maxed out injectors) and boost.

what if:
u get a bad tank of gas?
boost spikes?

you wouldnt be stoich anymore

i think it runs rich so we dont blow our motors... no matter what its still a hack

I don't understand the blue box fully, but on my dyno runs with my old civic...I had my first pull yield a very rich 10.5 a/f ratio after 4000 rpm, but my other pulls had nice flat 12.0-12.5 a/f ratios throughout the power band. This was at 5-6 psi and I was actually happy with the results as is contrary to many other's experiences with the blue box. For low boost, I think it works fine.
