My friend just finished rebuilding his motor and found a bunch of sludgy **** in his radiator. He was running a blown headgasket for 3 months before the rebuild. Someone told him to run hot water through it but it didn't work, he took the radiator to a shop $25 to clean it spic and span his name is LS-Rturbo if you have any questions for him

I'm not sure if a Stop Leak is the same as what I'm thinking it is, but I remember when my radiator was leaking, I added a bottle of some black gunk with quarter inch sized *****...something found at Kraegen's. It looked just like that...

Its casting sand and coolant sludge. They cast the motor mold in sand and sometimes, some sand is stuck in the motors past the assembly line. Happens in Fords alot...

I had that come out of my 240sx motor when I first got it. It would always overheat, and we found out why. It was full of that stuff. We flushed it out and no problems or **** since.

well, yeah, i must agree, kodd sucks, i dont know one motor that he has built that hasn't smoked, or broke.

But, the only thing he did for me was put the pistons in, he didnt do the sleeves. So, FOR ONCE, this isnt his fault, lol..

by the way, who are you?

When you said it had hair in it, it almost guarantees that it is Bar's Leak. Bar's Leak is made form a rihzome... Which is a plant, a tuber. It is fibrious, and looks like hair when it is broken down. Thier patent from like 50 years ago is interesting reading.
