any intercooler mounting tips for an EF?

Default any intercooler mounting tips for an EF?

size is 33" from inlet to outlet openings. the main body is 25" x 7" x 2.5"

im looking for some mounting tips or pics of mounts on an EF. I searched but couldnt find any pics, they were all red x's.

you will probably need to notch the bumper support.... atleast this makes mounting MUCH easier.

nice!!

someone told me that I was supposed to mount it to the bumper support in between the bumper and the support? or do the pictures show the correct way?

31x8x3.5 I believe. It's the medium sized Precision "600hp" intercooler.

There is just no room to mount an intercooler of this size while still keeping the bumper support, unless you hack up the support. It was just easier for me to take the support out. Plus it's a track only car too.

wound it be better to mount it how it is in the pics or mount it to the bumper support?

it depends on your intercooler. It looks like his has those tabs cast in so it'd be a good idea to use them but there really is no wrong way as long as it's sturdy.
