no such thing as "cheap good" anything. I say you need to lower your compression first before turboing your b16b unless you have a good tuner to tune a high comp turboed motor.

dude, search, there are at least 200 people that have tried this kit and have had serious problems, manifolds cracking, wastegates failing. etc. if u would buy the kit and change the turbo/manifold that would be the best route. or just buy a used kit

if you want a cheap kit just get that one and ditch the manifold for a cheap cast manifold.
I love how people just say SSAC sucks but dont provide any info, its like the new H-T bandwagon. If you want boost, cheap, then SSAC is your best friend. Their quality is known to be shitty but as long as you replace the manifold that should be a just fine starting kit...
Ive only seen ONE of their turbos literally fall apart [as has everyone else on this board of course] and thats what has become the common reference to the quality of SSAC, but 1 out of 6000 turbos is not a bad ratio.
Plenty of people are running their kits with no issues. Just keep in mind its a buyer beware type kit, you get what you pay for, if you want cheap boost thats the kit- if you want reliable boost, it wont be that cheap... or pretty.
